Zero Carb Keto: Healthier Life By Removing Plant Matter, Not Going Plant-Based

Healthier Life by Removing Plant Matter, Not Going Plant-Based

I watched a great YouTube lecture yesterday by Dr. Paul Mason that explained to me why I have had troubles with fiber and plant matter my whole life. The eye-opening part was that I am not an anomaly. Actually, all humans have problems with fiber and plant matter! I highly recommend the video, it is only around twenty minutes long but incredibly educational:

This excellent video summarizes all of the information I have been gleaning over the last two years. Homo sapiens evolved away from other primates to eat a diet based almost entirely on fatty meat (and coldwater fish). When you start to think about it, this makes perfect sense. In the Ice Ages, which was most of the time during the 160,000 years or so of homo sapiens' existence, that was all there was to eat!

As apex predators, we were able to hunt the megafauna like woolly mammoth and expand our brainpower by eating the fats and meat of such animals. Small amounts of such nutrient and calorically dense food allowed us to survive, thrive, and progress. It made us who we are!

Also, fatty meats from free-ranging ruminants is not only perfectly sustainable, but actually helps replenish the earth and sequester carbon, unlike plant agriculture, which is environmentally degrading, carbon emitting, and actually unhealthy for humans. The major health crises that humanity faces today are caused from plant-based eating: diabetes, heart disease, cancer, obesity, dementia, bipolar, autism, etc. These diseases are all related to humans consuming a carbohydrate-based diet, which is entirely opposite that which we are evolved to follow.

Yet there is a trend (I assume pushed by the corporate powers that have a huge economic stake in it) towards plant-based diets. In fact, here is a company so misinformed that they actually refuse to reimburse employees for meat:

Perhaps this company is not misinformed, and they are just intentionally choosing something that will benefit multinational corporate profits and the pharma-industrial complex?

Individually, we must remain proactive and look out for own health. We cannot take the advice of the powers-that-be, as they are absolutely not looking out for our best interests. Only we are!
