Question and Answer Page!

I thought it might be nice to set up a Question and Answer page for people that might have questions, comments, or support regarding following a zero carb keto diet! Note that I am not a doctor, this is not medical advice, just my own personal opinion! And of course, please keep comments respectful and civil! To participate, please click "Enter Your Comment" under the Comments area below on this page. Then I will get a notification and can reply to you! You will be given an option to receive notification by email of any followup replies to your comment. Thank you for reading! Grassfed lamb ribs with sea salt

Easy Bodyfat Control

Another really nice feature of following the zero-carb ketogenic diet is the ease of bodyfat control. Since there is no hunger, it becomes very easy to customize calorie intake. Finding the perfect set point for calorie intake, along with the amount of exercise desired, makes it very easy to maintain a bodyfat percentage that you choose!

Instead of being at the beck and call of carb-induced hunger and snacking, with zero-carb keto one can breezily get through the day with fasting, or no snacking, provided your fat intake is 75-80% of calories!

I have been able to maintain 14-15% bodyfat for a year now, with slight caloric deficit, and light exercise. I am so pleased! A woman my age is considered "slim" if she is 24-27% bodyfat!

I measure my bodyfat two ways: with a weight/bodyfat scale, and also with a bodyfat calculator where you measure parts of your body. Here is one: http://fitness.bizcalcs.com/Calculator.asp?Calc=Body-Fat-Navy
You can also use calipers, which I have done in the past as well.

It is really nice to know that you have control of your bodyfat. You don't have to watch your body just gain and gain fat every year! You can keep it right where you want it!
