Question and Answer Page!

I thought it might be nice to set up a Question and Answer page for people that might have questions, comments, or support regarding following a zero carb keto diet! Note that I am not a doctor, this is not medical advice, just my own personal opinion! And of course, please keep comments respectful and civil! To participate, please click "Enter Your Comment" under the Comments area below on this page. Then I will get a notification and can reply to you! You will be given an option to receive notification by email of any followup replies to your comment. Thank you for reading! Grassfed lamb ribs with sea salt

Complete Nutrition

A zero carb ketogenic diet offers complete nutrition without supplementation. Grassfed ruminant fats, such as marrow, contain antioxidants vitamin A, C, D, E, K, glutathione, superoxide dismutase, and catalase. The fats of grassfed ruminants, (and wild-caught fish), are also a good source of omega-3 fatty acids and conjugated linoleic acid.

Organ meats are some of the most bioavailable, nutrient dense foods you can find! Beef heart is an excellent source of coenzyme Q10. Liver is extremely high in vitamin A, and also contains vitamin C, as do sweetbreads (pancreas and thymus). Beef tongue and muscle meat is an excellent source of minerals such as phosphorus, selenium, zinc, iron, and copper, and rich in vital B vitamins.

Along with sea salt, which provides necessary chloride and trace minerals, a zero carb keto diet which includes animal fat, organ, and muscle meat, is complete nutrition, with no supplementation needed!
