Socializing on Zero Carb

Eating is a national pastime, it seems! And generally people love to go to restaurants and eat out. This can make things difficult when on zero carb keto! What I have found that works very well is to invite people over. That way I can serve them foods that I know both they and I can eat! If it is at their house or a restaurant, I might just eat beforehand to make things easier. It's often just too difficult to try and eat zero carb keto outside of home. They are likely to marinade meats or add spices, which can affect my gut. Then there's the issue of finding good fats as well, since most cuts are far too lean to be keto. It's just easier for everyone for me to eat before I go!

It's possible to get a little envious when seeing everyone else partake of foods that I know I shouldn't have. But then I remember the gut pain lasting three days which accompanies any cheating, and I stick to my guns! Also, I have to remember that it's not about eating - it's really about enjoying each other's company!
