Keto Carnivory: 40 Hour Fasting Results

I completed a 40 hour fast this morning, the first 16 hours were a dry fast (not even water). It felt great! I actually could have easily kept going. I just felt really good. Actually _more_ energy than usual, higher libido, greater feeling of happiness, better vision! The vision is a huge deal, because I have been suffering from double vision since a concussion in mid-February. So having a day free of double vision was a miracle!

I read Dr. Jason Fung's book "Life in the Fasting Lane" and it explains how a lot of people do 36 hour fast every other day. I think I might try it. It just felt great!

My digestion seemed so effortless as well!

I just watched a podcast of Michaela Peterson interviewing Dr. Fung. She mentioned that while the red meat carnivore diet has cured most of her serious autoimmune issues, it was regular fasting that finally cleared up the rest. 

I am so excited. I feel so great, the results were amazing,  and it was way easier than I expected. And no dishes to clean up! Bonus!

I highly recommend fasting. Autophagy can't happen in the presence of insulin! And we all want some of that human growth hormone to stay youthful!
