Question and Answer Page!

I thought it might be nice to set up a Question and Answer page for people that might have questions, comments, or support regarding following a zero carb keto diet! Note that I am not a doctor, this is not medical advice, just my own personal opinion! And of course, please keep comments respectful and civil! To participate, please click "Enter Your Comment" under the Comments area below on this page. Then I will get a notification and can reply to you! You will be given an option to receive notification by email of any followup replies to your comment. Thank you for reading! Grassfed lamb ribs with sea salt

Keto Carnivory: Affordability for Grassfed Meat; Intermittent Fasting

Since the pandemic lockdown in March, meat processors have been booked up. I am grateful that I had a good supply of grassfed mutton. I did purchase some good local grainfed organ meats too, but thankfully my favorite grassfed rancher has stock again! So I will stock up. Mostly on organ meats, since those are the most affordable cuts, and so delicious and nutritious too.

I have been doing some intermittent fasting. Yesterday I did a 20 hour fast. It is really not bad at all. Less dishes to clean!

I did a home vitamin D test. It was on the low end of normal. Despite hours of daily nude sunbathing with no sunscreen at midday in July! I guess as you get older, your skin really doesn't make vitamin D very well at all! But I found out that beef blood is extremely high in calcidiol, which is a next-step of vitamin D. I had gotten bison blood before and made a simple blood pudding, so I emailed that vendor to get some more!
