Homo Sapiens Diet

I read "Plant Paradox" the other day, which brought up the Neu5gc about which I posted yesterday. He contradicts himself in the book. He said that we shouldn't eat certain foods such as nightshades and squashes because they are "new". However, he said we should eat a lot of olives and olive oil. Olives are only 6,000 years old! That is extremely "new" in the 190,000 year history of homo sapiens!

Mammalian meat, which he shuns, is the one thing that has been consistent throughout the history of our species! Our species originated in Eastern Africa. Keep in mind, most of the historical period of our species was colder than it is now, so there was even less plant life. Yet even now, you'd see a lot of savanna in Eastern Africa. What is there to eat there? Mammalian meat and not much else:

Then around 60,000 years ago, some of our species moved out of Africa and into Asia and Europe. Most of those areas were quite cold and considered steppe-tundra:

As you can see, there's not much at all to eat besides mammalian meat!

When we eat naturally, we have no need to intake supplements, pre-and pro-biotics, or exotic vegetables flown in from faraway lands. We need to just put on our big boy pants and not apologize for eating what is natural for us to eat!
