I do not eat any plant matter. Just
meat, fat, and salt. Why is that, you may ask?
Plants contain
fructans, which are chains of fructose molecules. Plants create fructans to help them survive drought and cold. The human digestive system actually
lacks the enzyme to break fructans down. Even ruminant animals can have dangerous problems with fructans. For humans, fructans can cause bloating, intestinal pain, diarrhea and/or constipation - and last for
days, affecting one's mood as well. So when the powers-that-be say to eat
more fiber, they are wrong! It will only make matters worse!
When I completely avoid plant matter (and hence fructans), my digestion runs smoothly and regularly. But what about all those vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants that we supposedly need from plants? Actually, the
vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants in meat products are very
easily assimilated by the human body. Plant matter, on the other hand, presents a host of obstacles such as lectins, tannins, and phytates, which can actually
damage the human intestinal tract!
A diet of only meat, fat, and salt will provide all of your necessary nutrients and keep the intestinal tract running smoothly and happily. Your abdomen will be actually perfectly
flat, not bloated! And when you think about it, it only makes sense. Meat and fat are what our homo sapiens ancestors ate for about
140,000 years before the relatively new arrival of warmer weather and agriculture!
