Question and Answer Page!

I thought it might be nice to set up a Question and Answer page for people that might have questions, comments, or support regarding following a zero carb keto diet! Note that I am not a doctor, this is not medical advice, just my own personal opinion! And of course, please keep comments respectful and civil! To participate, please click "Enter Your Comment" under the Comments area below on this page. Then I will get a notification and can reply to you! You will be given an option to receive notification by email of any followup replies to your comment. Thank you for reading! Grassfed lamb ribs with sea salt

Serotonin

I mentioned in my post yesterday about the need for sunlight and exercise. The reason it is so important is that it helps maintain levels of serotonin, a neurotransmitter, which is vitally important for brain function, as well as digestion, bones, organs, aging, and general growth.

I think that one reason so many people are on behavioral pharmaceuticals is a deficiency in serotonin due to the absolute lack of sunlight and exercise in our daily lives. Homo sapiens sapiens has throughout a hundred thousand year history, had hours per day of sunlight and exercise. Now, suddenly, we are lucky to get ten minutes per day!

It is an epidemic, and it is one example of the many ways that our modern life has diverged away from our biological life.

I'm going to make a point to try and get hours of sunlight and exercise per day. It's not going to be easy with a full-time desk job! But I'll see what I can do.
