Focus of a Fighter Pilot

I am so, so grateful that I found zero-carb keto. There have been some extremely difficult times in my life in the last four years. If I hadn't found the focus of a fighter pilot from zero carb keto, I probably would have broken down. Zero carb keto allowed my moods to stay even, and my nerves to stay strong. When previously, I would have lashed out in anger, or crashed in grief, I now can face trials rationally. I don't feel that crazy swing of emotions like when I was a sugar-burner.

I also think the type of fats that I consume is important too. For example, I do not think pork, poultry, or dairy fats are good for me personally. They make my fasting blood sugar rise, affect my digestion negatively, and I think even cause inflammation, based on blood test results. For the pork and poultry, it could be that they are so much higher in omega 6s, and for the dairy it could be something to do with the casein.

If I keep my eyes on the prize, and stay the course with grassfed ruminant meat and fat such as beef, lamb, and marrow, with plenty of sea salt, then all is well! I am strong, focused, and level-headed. That is a really, really good feeling when confronted with tough challenges!
