Question and Answer Page!

I thought it might be nice to set up a Question and Answer page for people that might have questions, comments, or support regarding following a zero carb keto diet! Note that I am not a doctor, this is not medical advice, just my own personal opinion! And of course, please keep comments respectful and civil! To participate, please click "Enter Your Comment" under the Comments area below on this page. Then I will get a notification and can reply to you! You will be given an option to receive notification by email of any followup replies to your comment. Thank you for reading! Grassfed lamb ribs with sea salt

Carnivore Diet: Back to High Protein

Well, my foray back to high fat carnivore diet was very brief. I just couldn't take the intestinal cramping. Also my blood glucose ran high too, strangely. And I felt weak and depressed. And I had foot cramps all night. I guess I am a weird case. My gut really prefers the high protein carnivore diet.

So I am happily slow cooking some beef and lamb tendons and shank!

However, I had previously cooked a lovely boneless lamb roast from the international grocery, which tasted amazing, but I am afraid I cannot eat now. What a waste. And I have two whole lamb shares coming in a few weeks! Which may be too fatty for me now.

I also received my grassfed wagyu beef order today. We'll see how my gut does with that once it thaws out. I got short ribs and a chuck roast. They look beautifully marbled. I also ordered grassfed lamb ribs from that vendor. Again, it all may be too fatty. Hopefully this all does ok for my gut, or I am wasting a huge amount of money and food!

High fat is supposed to be best, but with my Crohn's disease, I am just not able to handle it. I'm hoping that maybe if I cut off all the intermuscular fat, then I will be ok with just the intramuscular fat. But I fear that might still be bothersome to my gut! I'll find out soon.

In other news, I came across a study showing sun exposure helps IBD and Crohn's! Another reason to keep up my sunbathing!
