Carnivore Diet: Just Eat to Satiety?

I think there may be two issues for me. It could definitely be that I am not getting enough iodine, based on my free T3 test. I am working on eating clams and mussels once a week. That will help with getting more copper as well, which should help my vitiligo.

But also, I think my 5-lb weight gain is just needed weight. I think that I was just not eating enough calories last year. I feel better, with more energy and mental focus, and I am able to be more active now. I am now 16% instead of 14% bodyfat, which is still "athlete" range for my age and sex. And BMI is still just 18, which is considered "underweight." So I am just going to eat to satiety and not worry about it!

I will be picking up my two whole grassfed lamb shares on Sunday. I'm getting a few small items tonight from a local grassfed farmer. They sell raw grassfed milk colostrum. I had tried it once before, making a simple cottage cheese with it, and it was really good, and I didn't have too much gut issues from it. So I thought I might try once more just to tide me over until my lamb arrives. I'm also getting a beefheart so I can make some delicious, delicious homemade jerky to tide me over. Mmm mm!

In other news, my carnivore diet cat is also going full carnivore and started hunting again now that he has outdoor access. Unfortunately, that means "presents" coming inside the house. Oh well!
