Carnivore Diet: Piscivore
Recently i have switched to a piscivore diet, meaning a seafood-based carnivore diet. I am focusing on small crustaceans and mollusks since they are very low in mercury. I have been eating mussels, clams, squid, cuttlefish, prawns, and in addition, some quail eggs. Chicken eggs stopped agreeing with me, but knock on wood, I am doing OK with quail eggs.
I am just drinking still or seltzer water. Besides that, the only other food I am having is a squeeze of lime juice here and there.
So far I am feeling great, and my weight is going back down to where it was, with the help of high calorie restriction.
I am happy to be over the diarrhea and intestinal cramping from high fat.
The only tricky thing is going to be packing lunches. I had purchased dried flounder and dried shrimp last time I tried piscivore. Maybe I'll do that again.
I have been getting all my seafood at the Asian grocery store. It is much more affordable and they actually have wild caught seafood!
