Question and Answer Page!

I thought it might be nice to set up a Question and Answer page for people that might have questions, comments, or support regarding following a zero carb keto diet! Note that I am not a doctor, this is not medical advice, just my own personal opinion! And of course, please keep comments respectful and civil! To participate, please click "Enter Your Comment" under the Comments area below on this page. Then I will get a notification and can reply to you! You will be given an option to receive notification by email of any followup replies to your comment. Thank you for reading! Grassfed lamb ribs with sea salt

Organ Meats

Organ meats are so good!

For one, many of the organ meats are really nice and high fat! Such as tongue and sweetbreads. Perfect ratio for keto!

Then, they are so wonderfully tasty, and a nice variety in texture and taste from regular muscle meat!

Plus, they are incredibly nutrient dense! Even more so than muscle meat, which is already nutrient dense!

If you have never had organ meats, or thought you did not like them, you really should try them! I concentrate on grassfed animals such as beef and lamb, which are highest in omega 3 over pork and poultry.

Some of my favorite organ meats are:
-beef tongue
-beef sweetbreads
-beef heart with fat
-lamb liver
-lamb kidneys

These are all very easy to cook, too, believe it or not. Tongue and heart can just be put in an empty crockpot and cooked 12 hours. Sweetbreads can just be parboiled then torn into pieces, removing any tough membrane, and baked in the toaster oven. Lamb liver and kidneys can just be baked in the toaster oven. So simple! So amazing!
