Zero Carb Keto: It Is Actually Really Easy

I often hear people say "I could never do that" in regards to my way of eating.

They say they cannot give up eating snack foods, or desserts, or drinking beer or wine, or this or that.

But for me, there's two things I need to point out. One is, I eat this way because otherwise I have gut issues that are pretty severe and last for days. Just the thought of that is usually enough to dissuade me from "cheating."

The other is, it is really not hard at all! In fact, it is far easier to eat this way than other way of eating I have ever tried! And believe me, I have tried many different ways of eating in an effort to relieve myself of colitis!

It is easy because when fat content is high (over 65% of calories), and good quality fat (such as bone marrow from 100% grassfed animals) then one feels very satiated. I know as a sugar burner back in the day, I could not even imagine that feeling! But it is such a great feeling! I just have no desire to eat more than I need, or to eat carby stuff. I know it will just make me feel gross anyway.

It is easy because cooking is as simple as can be. Get meat, put in empty crock pot. Take it out when it is done. Eat it. No chopping, no recipes, no mess to clean up, no waste!

It is easy because it makes me feel so good. I enjoy being able to sustain a nice low bodyfat (14-15% for a 45-yr-old female), feel strong, focused, level-headed, in control. No menstrual pain (which is a huge change from my sugar-burning days), no headaches, muscle cramps (used to get those all the time when I ate plant matter!), no skin problems (I used to have cystic acne and keratosis pilaris), no colitis (this is a really amazing benefit). No anger, no irritability. I can do just fine on much less sleep.

So, really, you could try it. The secret is out. Zero carb keto is actually really easy!
