Zero Carb Keto: Running Cool

I was thinking about how being on zero carb keto keeps your body running cool, instead of hot or inflamed.

For example, blood glucose levels are low all day, all the time. Mine tend to be between 70-80mg/dl (3.8-4.4mmol/l) all day, all night, before meals, after meals, fasting, whenever. So different than back when I was a sugar burner! I would have sugar highs and crashes all the time!

Also, my blood pressure is now really low all day, all the time too! I tested after taking a walk yesterday and it was just 75/55. In the mornings it is the same, very low. I read that this is typical for athletes, who can be very active and yet their blood pressure stays very low. So that is great!

Also, there are the level moods all the time. I used to get irritable and moody based on my hunger or sugar levels. Now that is smoothed out and I feel very serene all the time.

I have mentioned before about menses too. Zero carb keto has made my menses very easy and pain-free, which is amazing, compared to how really debilitating it used to be!

I do not have the problems with inflammation that I used to have, such as keratosis pilaris (bumpy skin), or headaches or muscle cramps. And no gut bloating or pain! All of those were signs of inflammation. And now they are gone!

So it really seems that zero carb keto is great for treating inflammation and letting the body run "cool"!
