Keto Carnivore: Fish vs Meat

I am still trying to figure out what is best for packed lunches on my new piscivore (seafood-based carnivore) diet. For two days I tried bringing some canned Icelandic cod liver. But it is messy from the oil, and I think the paper towels may have created a slight fishy smell in the hallway. So I gave up on that idea.

So instead I brought a little cooked lamb ribs that I had left over. But this morning I noticed I had gained a half pound, even though my calorie intake was the same. I know because I weigh my food. And from what I have found, weight gain means difficulty processing the food, having to retain water. And I was surprised to hear someone say the same thing on a podcast the other day:

So today I am going to try packing some cooked swordfish and a little marrow fat. I'll just eat it cold so it doesn't smell up the office. We'll see how that works!
