So it's been a week now I have been on a fully piscivore (seafood-based carnivore) diet for all meals. It has been great! I really love the lightness and ease of digestion! And great mental focus!
I have decided to shop at the local health food market rather than the Asian store. I just feel that the Asian seafood, especially from China, is suspicious. Pollution is high there. And I don't even necessarily trust that if it is labelled wild-caught, it really is. So I'm hoping that the local health food market is more trustworthy.
But I have my doubts there too. Yesterday I had some fresh salmon fillet from the health food market, and my nose turned bright red! I thought, what on earth? Then I remembered that often salmon is dyed. This didn't disclose that, but I wonder if my red nose was a reaction to dye? We'll find out when I have some more! I really don't like that producers add things to fresh meat and fish and don't clearly disclose it. So now we can't even assume that what seems to be a pork chop, or a salmon fillet, or heavy cream, is just that and nothing else. In fact, we really need to assume that there are additives, unless it clearly says otherwise! What a world.
Also, I was thinking more about how every single person I know uses pharmaceuticals. That made me really depressed. I hope that somewhere out there in the world, there are a few more of us that don't take pharmaceuticals or supplements!
