Keto Feels Great!

The last week I have gotten my fat intake higher. It feels great! I had been eating canned grassfed beef since I was trying to be plastic-free, but it was pretty lean. My fat to protein intake was just 50% / 50%. But I gave up on the plastic-free mission, and picked up some great fatty beef and pork from my local farmer. My fat to protein intake is now 60% / 40%. 

I feel so energetic! And my fasting glucose is lower now too! My blood glucose is now averaging 78mg/dl (4.4mmol/l) whereas on the higher protein it was averaging 90 mg/dl (5mmol/l). Plus, on the higher protein, I was having some foot cramps and strong smelling urine. It could have also been the Himalayan salt I was using, though, I don't know for sure. 

But I really feel fantastic and my food is so satisfying! It is amazing how that little bit of extra fat could make such a difference!
