I thought it might be nice to set up a Question and Answer page for people that might have questions, comments, or support regarding following a zero carb keto diet! Note that I am not a doctor, this is not medical advice, just my own personal opinion! And of course, please keep comments respectful and civil! To participate, please click "Enter Your Comment" under the Comments area below on this page. Then I will get a notification and can reply to you! Zero Carb Keto: Even Lower Bodyfat?

I was reading an article the other day about a woman who used to do competitive body sculpting. She said that she used to be "near single-digit" bodyfat. But she said now she is much healthier and happier at a higher bodyfat.

I have wanted to get down to a lower bodyfat. According to the bodyfat calculator and my scale, I am between 14-15% bodyfat. Which is considered "Athlete" range, and is pretty low for a woman my age (46). I would still like to be lower, if possible, though. I have a decent amount of muscle definition, but I would love for even more!

However, I am already practicing 20% calorie restriction from baseline, and doing 30 minutes of barre exercise daily. To get even lower bodyfat would probably require even more calorie restriction, and more exercise. I do not think I can do much more calorie restriction. But I could do more exercise, in the evenings after work! Some kind of exercise that can be done inside the house, since now the evenings are totally dark (and cold!). Maybe just some basic calisthenics?

I will have to see how it goes. I feel good now, and not hungry. I do not want to sacrifice any of that for an even lower bodyfat!
